I read it to my preschool class and did this one simple craft. Use of different textured papers makes it festive and colorful for my class.

Things you need

• Plain copier paper
• Card stock or construction paper
• Assorted wrapping paper
• Foil paper or golden/silver wrapping paper for domes and lantern
• Scissors
• Glue stick
• Pencil for tracing

How to

• Print out two copies of the file. One on plain copier paper and one on card stock.
• Use the plain copier copy as your cut out template. Cut different shapes in different colors.
• Paste on card stock paper.
