My name is Misbah, they call me "Mini". Well, where do I start? My favorite place in the world is anywhere I can get my feet wet in sand, I LOVE the beach! I love the beach so much that one hot summer day back in 2017, my daughter and son-in-law took me to two beaches on the same day because I wasn't satisfied with the first one! Back to more about myself, by profession I work with elementary school kids with disabilities/special needs. I like to be involved in my community, cook eclectic foods, garden, and let my grand kids do all of the things I never let my kids do ;).
Enough about myself, let's talk about my family. My grassroots are from Lahore, Pakistan, where I visit often to see my siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. But thank goodness my kids and grand kids are close to my home (and my heart) in Virginia! Let's skip over the kids and talk about my five precious grand kids. The oldest is ten years old, we call her Sum Baji. She loves having girl time with tea parties, facials, massages, manicures, and anything else that could involve sparkle and glitter. She loves to send letters to us even we live 20 minutes away. Her crafty self is perfectly inherited. Next is the eight year old, we call him Abe Bhayyiah. He is overly obsessed with sports clothing, loves to build things, and prefers to wear shorts year round. His love for me hide in this phrase:"Can you do sleepover")Then we have the six year old, we call him Illy. Illy has no time for rest as he is busy keeping up with his older siblings and tries to get his fingers on any type of electronic. Ily's favorite thing to do is to have a cereal bowl with milk right before bed and he exclaimed he has to 1,2,3,4,5, or may be 6 cavities at the moment. Once in a while you will hear his wild imagination “roar” as he is overly obsessed with dinosaurs! Last, but not least, is our talking Robot we call him Qasi. His obsessions is with trucks, as he is a pandemic baby so he knows too much about the delivery schedule of Amazon, UPS, and FedEx trucks. Mini is his favorite person so far because of what he gets on Friday mornings yes treat delivery of his favorite kind of donuts. And now i would like to introduce you to our new addition to the crew, little miss Zainy. This little miss even loves to glued to mommy she does acknowledge me with her little smiles. Hopefully one day buttery rice and sweet Halwa are going to bond us together.
