Mini Pizzas

1/15/2019

I have been teaching a "Young Chefs" class at my local elementary school for a few years now, and one of the things that I bring back each year is mini pizzas. Because at the end of the day, kids + pizza = happy! For this recipe you will need mini pizza pans, pre-made pizza dough, flour, veggies of your liking, pizza sauce, and mozzarella cheese. See pictures and captions below for the steps.
Start off by sprinkling flour on your surface. Take out the pre-made dough (I prefer to use the Trader Joe's brand) and stretch it out with a rolling pin to fit the size of the pizza pan.
Next, chop up some of your young chef's favorite veggies. At this point, you can spread the pizza sauce on the dough, sprinkle the veggies, and then top it off with mozzarella cheese.
Since this class takes place at school, I have invested in a toaster oven. Pop the pizza pans in the toaster over at 400 F for 10 minutes.
